Bell’s Palsy

When I came to your office, it was with very little hope you could help me. I had come down with a serious case of Bell’s Palsy and had gone for acupuncture a few months later. Although it helped to a degree, my face was still paralyzed. I thought I would have to live with this damage for the rest of my life. One of my doctors recommended I make an appointment with you to see if you could do anything for me. I did and it was the best decision I ever made.

From the beginning you told me you couldn’t guarantee how much could be done to return my face to “normal”. Your total honesty from the beginning won me over and I knew if anyone would make the biggest effort to help me it would be you.

Different parts of the right side of my face were very painful but within the first six weeks I noticed the pain was slowly going away and that some of my muscles were starting to move a little. After a couple of months, even my friends started to notice a difference in my face and would comment on it – even the ones who didn’t know I was going for acupuncture.

It has been eight months and you haven’t let me down. Although I know my face will never look exactly like it did before, I can’t believe what you have done. People who are just meeting me, or the ones I haven’t seen in a very long time, don’t even know – or remember – there was a problem.

Besides being amazing at what you do, you are probably one of the most honest and caring person I know. Not only have you helped me with your talents but have been an amazing emotional support.
